Dear Parents,
During the closing weeks of school, a great deal of time and effort is invested in determining classroom placement and teacher assignments for our students for the upcoming school year. Every effort is made to assign students to a class where they will receive the best educational experience and opportunity possible.
We work together on grade-level teams and consider many factors during this process. We consider girl/boy ratios, academic levels, social relationships, and individual student strengths and needs as we determine classroom placement.
If you, as a parent, feel there is information we should be aware of prior to making these assignments, please fill out the Lake View Class Placement Form. You can access this form online by visiting our website (http://www.lakeview.besd.net). and clicking the button on the homepage. You can fill it out and submit it online. To be considered, this form must be completed by May 9, 2022.
Due to the complexity of the placement process, specific teacher requests will not be accepted unless a compelling, justifiable, and educationally based reason is present.
